AFFECTED CROP:
Potatoes, beets, cotton, cruciferous plants, vines and grass.
DAMAGES:
The main damage occurs in young seedlings, where they gnaw the neck causing the fall and subsequent death of the seedling. In adult plants, they attack the green parts closest to the ground. This pest also feeds on roots and tubers. At other times they feed on the buds (in the case of grapevines, destroying them).
