Herbaceous crops (maize, rice and sugar cane). Cotton, brassicas, cucurbits, fabaceae (beans), liliaceae (onion), solanaceae (potato, sweet potato, tomato, aubergine, pepper, tobacco) and on several ornamentals (chrysanthemums, carnations and pelargonium sp.).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In the early stages, the larvae gnaw the epidermis on the underside of the leaf, creating translucent “windows”. Later, in the third instar, they will start to eat the whole leaf, leaving irregular holes in it, and then move to the fruit, where they will start to eat it, causing it to lose a significant part of its commercial value.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
